The Country Music Hall of Famer will be bringing Christmas cheer to Nashville, Tennessee; Charleston, South Carolina; Cincinnati, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; Birmingham, Alabama; Knoxville, Tennessee, and other cities. Fans and concert-goers can expect a wide variety of songs as Skaggs and his accompanying band perform their own spin on the tracks.

“Everybody loves Christmas,” Skaggs said in a press release. “It’s the time of year when we think about others and not ourselves. We love singing songs about the greatest birth in history, Jesus Christ. We will be performing some of the old standards we’ve all grown up with, but we will also have some instrumentals and songs that you might not be familiar with.”

Skaggs spoke to CMT in August on what fans can expect from the Christmas tour. “It’s a lot of joy,” he said. “All of our shows have got joy in it, but I think there’s a lot of joy in Christmas. We love to let people know what the Christmas story is. It’s not just a give gifts and get gifts; it’s a time of worship. God gave us the best gift he had. It was his son. And so it’s a real special thing.”
