Let’s face it. When it comes to banner years, it’s hard to beat Thomas Rhett’s.

This talented and handsome young man, married to a girl he has known since childhood, has done it all, and a lot of it he did for the first time this year!

Right after announcing that he and wife Lauren were starting a family, T-Rhett embarked on his first headline tour—”The Home Team Tour”—and so many shows were sold out he even had to add dates in some cities.

Oh, and when they start a family, they don’t mess around. In May, the couple brought home their daughter Willa Gray from Uganda. Then three short months later in August, Lauren delivered a second baby girl, Ada James.

Snuggled in amidst all of that activity, T-Rhett watched “Craving You,” his smash duet with Maren Morris and the first release from his newest album, “Life Changes,” ding the bell at the top of the country charts, and also watched the second single, “Unforgettable,” virtually skyrocket up the charts.

And “Life Changes?” Yes, it was another first. His first album to debut in the top spot on the country albums chart.

Then there’s the small matter of his very first Grammy nomination for “Die a Happy Man.”

Yeah … there’s something special about the first time. All the first times.
