Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook are no strangers to the winners’ circle with numerous awards and industry accolades. And they aren’t showing any signs of slowing down or resting on past accomplishments after an outstanding year.
In 2017, the group set an enviable precedent as the first act ever to sell out an historic yearlong residency at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. They staged an overseas tour, and they enjoyed a big, multi-week, No. 1 hit song penned by Taylor Swift (“Better Man”).
The Grammy Award-winning vocal group also announced they will bring their critically acclaimed harmonies to arenas nationwide in the winter and spring of 2018 with “The Breakers Tour.” The highly anticipated, multi-city run begins Feb. 8 in Oklahoma City and will visit 26 markets, including a stop at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.
Little Big Town’s landmark year to date includes the release of their chart-topping album “The Breaker,” which debuted No. 1 on the “Billboard” Top Country Albums Chart and Top 5 on the Billboard 200 all genre chart. And, if that wasn’t enough, the multi-platinum selling country group was inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville this year and earned their sixth consecutive CMA Award for Vocal Group of the Year.
