From bars to fashion, Blake Shelton branched out this year

Blake Shelton cemented his rank as a country music powerhouse in 2017 thanks to scoring his 24th No. 1 hit with “Every Time I Hear That Song.” The award-winning singer also released his new album, “Texoma Shore,” and continued to dominate prime time TV as a coach on “The Voice.” In addition, he became the first country artist ever to win the all-genre People’s Choice Award for Favorite Album of the Year.

He kicked off the year headlining the “Doin’ It To Country Songs Tour,” and later announced his “Country Music Freaks” outing set for the beginning of 2018. Blake even surprised fans with a six-song EP featuring a live set from his appearance at CMA Fest this past summer.

The chart-topper also spent the year expanding his lifestyle brand. He launched his first clothing line exclusively with Macy’s — BS Clothing, a collection of comfortable, casual menswear. Meanwhile, back in his hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, he opened a one-of-a-kind multi-level entertainment complex. Ole Red Tishomingo features a full-service restaurant and bar, a live music venue and retail space. A similar concept is expected to open next year on Lower Broadway in Nashville.

Of course, the singer also spent 2017 cuddling up to his girlfriend of two years, Gwen Stefani, a pairing his fans seem to endorse.
