Thomas Rhett’s career just keeps heating up with the release of his critically-acclaimed album “Life Changes.” He turned heads with “Craving You— his smash hit duet with Maren Morris — and current single, “Unforgettable,” which became his ninth No. 1. He also crisscrossed the country on his first headlining stint, the “Home Team Tour.”
TR racked up accolades this year, as he was named Country Artist of the Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March and earned a Song of the Year win for game-changer “Die A Happy Man” at the ACM Awards in April. He also tested his hosting skills, alongside Kelsea Ballerini, when the two rising stars co-hosted this summer’s “CMA Fest” television special on ABC, the second year in the job for Thomas.
Indicative of his new album title, the biggest “life changes” of 2017 came in the form of TR’s two precious daughters. The singer and his wife, Lauren, became first-time parents when they welcomed daughter Willa Gray from Uganda just months before Lauren gave birth to their second child, Ada James. The couple also recently celebrated five years of marriage.
In support of his new project, Thomas Rhett announced he’ll headline the massive “Life Changes Tour” in 2018, in addition to opening dates for Kenny Chesney on next summer’s “Trip Around The Sun” stadium trek.
Thomas is now nominated for Male Artist of the Year in the Rare Country Awards, and it’s up to you to decide the winner. Voting begins Nov. 13 at RareCountryAwards.com and runs until Dec. 13. Winners will be revealed during a livestreamed concert on Dec. 14.
