When this country hit-maker forgot the words, his fans found them Twitter/KipsUnderground

In a career spanning over five years and including countless thoughtful and fierce songs, there is going to be a time when you sit down, grab your guitar, and the words just won’t come out of your mouth. It’s inevitable.

Luckily, country hit-maker Kip Moore’s avid fan base knows just about every lyric to every song, and they were able to get him through the slight flub. The moment occurred during a recent acoustic set, as Kip was performing the heartwarming song “Try Again” from his new album, “Slowheart.” As he began singing, it was evident that the vocal powerhouse was having a little trouble with one of the lines.

“What’s the damn line?” he asked with a smile.

He went ahead and sang it again, and quickly remembered the forgotten words thanks to the fans eagerly shouting it out for him. And in true Kip fashion, he went on, with his voice gaining power throughout the epic performance.

Despite the flub, the song is for sure a winner, and one of the many on his new album that is gaining so much attention with fans.

“A lot of the songs were born before my travels,” Kip said in a recent interview. “There’s a stubborn quality to those songs, a feeling that I’m not quite ready to show my vulnerability and change. Then there are songs like ‘Try Again’ and ‘More Girls Like You’ that were written after my travels. There’s a sense of hope, a sense of doing things different and showing those vulnerabilities the next time around when you’re faced with that same situation.”
