Guys, you might want to sit down for this latest Jennifer Nettles video.
Sugarland’s leading lady is putting her soulful, unique spin on the icon Christmas classic “O Holy Night,” and it is out of this world.
Dressed in a festive red top and flowing green pants, Jennifer looks picture-perfect boho-chic in her new holiday special, “Tis the Season,” that premieres Dec. 21 at 8 p.m. ET on AXS-TV.
The special concert event will raise money and awareness for the “Band Against Cancer” movement. Throughout the evening, Jennifer will perform classic songs and modern favorites from her 2016 holiday album, “To Celebrate Christmas.”
And though there are so many Christmas favorites to love, Jennifer told the crowd before she began to sing that “O Holy Night” is her favorite spiritual and traditional Christmas tune.
Among the other songs she recorded on that album project are “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” with soul diva Andra Day and “Little Drummer Boy” with her friend and Broadway diva Idina Menzel.
And we still can’t get over Jennifer’s cover of the Kenny Loggins’ hit, “Celebrate Me Home,” which she previously nailed during this year’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” TV special.
It truly is the most wonderful time of year for Jennifer, especially this year as she and her Sugarland partner Kristian Bush have reunited and just released a brand-new single called “Still The Same,” their first release together in six years!
Yes, y’all, Sugarland is back!
And their new music video is giving us all the chills. Flashbacks of the group in the studio and on the road throughout the years are mixed with present-day footage of them at a photo shoot and in the studio working on their new music. It’s all coming full-circle, and it’s so special to witness.
If you haven’t seen the new video yet, watch it below!
