The world certainly isn’t pretty at the moment, but it’s amazing how just a little bit of Luke Bryan can make us smile again. Heck, all he has to do is swing those sweet hips of his and, all of a sudden, things get a tad brighter around here.
Certainly, Luke is serving that purpose for fans across the country on his current “What Makes You Country” tour, not only getting many out of their winter doldrums, but also allowing people to take a little break from the onslaught of bad news that seems to hit us on a daily basis.
And based on the screams, Luke did just that at a recent show, particularly during his performance of his hit “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye.” At around the 1:17 mark of this video, Luke takes off on some sexy moves that certainly got our attention and made our day brighter just by watching it.
Our thanks go out to the Luke fan who captured it all on camera.
These moves are just a small reason why country fans continue to trek to Luke’s live shows. And later this year, the four-time Entertainer of the Year is looking to pack them in during a series of stadium concerts that will be called the “What Makes You Country Tour XL Stadium Sized.” During a news conference covered by Rare Country, Luke revealed that he will headline some of the biggest and best sports stadiums in Toronto; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Cincinnati; Tampa, Florida; Pittsburgh; Boston; Minneapolis; Los Angeles; Denver; St. Louis; Chicago; and Vancouver before wrapping the tour in Detroit at Ford Field on Oct. 26. Joining him on tour will openers Sam Hunt, Jon Pardi, Morgan Wallen, Carly Pearce and DJ Rock.
“My excitement to play these iconic sports stadiums is truly uncontainable,” said Luke in a press release. “Playing my music live is the reason I do what I do and the energy of the fans is what pushes me year after year to deliver a bigger and better experience. I’m so thankful to be in these venues and cities with some of the brightest names in country music. This lineup fires me up and I can’t wait to get this tour started!”
Of course, if you can’t catch Luke on tour, everyone will soon be able to check him out on “American Idol” beginning March 11. As everyone knows by now, Luke will join fellow judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie on the reboot of the show that still will be helmed by Ryan Seacrest.
“I’m excited at the chance to help some deserving artists reach their dreams,” said Luke in a press release back in 2017 announcing his part in the show. “To be in a position in my career to help facilitate this, along with the other judges, is just a complete honor. It’s gonna be a blast!”
