Cover videos are not a rarity on YouTube, and if you search carefully, you can find some true gems like this one from a singer named Emily Minor.

Her cover of George Strait’s “The Chair” is just awesome—we can’t get over how good she is!

Now, y’all remember the iconic tune from 1985, which was written by legends Dean Dillon and Hank Cochran. It will forever go down in history as one of the greatest country songs in the world, and also maybe the greatest pick up line ever. And although it was recorded by a guy (good ol’ George,) a song this good works from both a man and a woman’s perspective.

Because who’s to say a girl can’t pick up a guy, right ladies?!

Emily, a North Carolina native, may only stand at 4’11″, but she’s got some serious spunk and pipes, and we think King George would be proud of her rendition of his most notable song. It’s great, right?!

Emily also writes her own music and has released a single called “Funky Feel Good,” an uptempo track perfect for summer. She’s even opened for Lee Brice, Dustin Lynch, Cole Swindell and Maddie & Tae!

In addition to her original material, she’s released a few other awesome country covers you’ve gotta see.

She has videos covering songs like Brooks & Dunn’s “Neon Moon,” Danielle Bradbery’s “Worth It,” Keith Whitley’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes,” Dustin Lynch’s “Love Me or Leave Me Alone,” Midland’s “Drinking Problem,” Martina McBride’s “Broken Wing,” and one of our personal favorites, Trisha Yearwood’s “X’s and O’s (An American Girl).”

You’re gonna want to keep an eye out for this gal! We think she’s gonna do big things!
