Songbird Carly Pearce lights up a Grand Ole Opry audience with addictive new song YouTube/Grand Ole Opry

There is just something about Carly Pearce that we can’t resist. Maybe it’s the way she can be sweet and seductive at the same time. Maybe its that genuine smile she sports during the span of every performance. Or maybe it’s her voice, which just might be one of the best to hit the country music airwaves in a long time.

Whatever it may be, it’s working.

That voice was on display during a February performance at the Grand Ole Opry, as Carly delighted the audience with her irresistible song, “Hide the Wine.” And while she looks damn happy in the video that was released on the Grand Ole Opry YouTube channel on March 15, her smile has just gotten bigger and bigger since then, and for good reason.

The Kentucky native recently grabbed her first ACM nomination for New Female Vocalist of the Year, a career milestone that was more than Carly could have ever imagined.

“I have dreamt of being nominated for an ACM Award my entire life,” shared Carly in a recent press release about “The 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards,” which will be broadcast live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 15  beginning at 8 p.m. ET on the CBS Television Network. “All the years I watched the show from my couch, wondering if I’d ever make it to the awards as a nominee are now coming true. I love you country music!”

Of course, that’s just one of the many milestones that Carly has been crossing off her career bucket list these days. Since breaking into the industry with her No. 1 debut “Every Little Thing,” Carly has scored some sweet tour dates with a handful of the biggest stars in country music, including Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett, and she will soon be hitting the road with Rascal Flatts.

“I can’t describe how much we are looking forward to the tour this summer,” said Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox in a recent press release. “We’ve been lucky enough to be in a position to tour consistently throughout our career, and last year felt like the perfect time to reset as we focused on the release of our 10th album. Coming back this year and with our friends Dan + Shay, who are some of the best guys around, as well as Carly, who had an amazing year last year, makes it all the more exciting! It’s going to be an awesome time for us and the fans!”
