As the days begin to wind down until the highly anticipated release date of Shania Twain’s fifth studio album, “Now,” on Sept. 29, many fans tuned into “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Aug. 16 to check out a new performance from the electric country artist.

And they weren’t disappointed.

In fact, Shania was looking and sounding her best as she took the stage to perform a new track from the album, called “Swingin’ With My Eyes Closed.” And yes, while still sounding fresh, the song’s backbeat definitely hearkens back to Shania’s past hits. The song is set to be featured on the album alongside recently released songs “Life’s About to Get Good” and “Poor Me.”

Just seconds before the performance, the audience got a surprise when host Jimmy Fallon announced that the country legend was heading back onto the road for a brand-new 2018 tour in support of “Now.” According to Shania’s tour schedule, shows will kick off on May 3 in Tacoma, Washington, and hit more than 40 cities before wrapping up in Las Vegas on Aug. 4. Her previous tour, 2015’s “Rock This Country Tour,” had been announced at the time as her last.

Makes you start to look forward to 2018, right?
