Prepare to be floored by this cover of Patsy Cline’s biggest hit YouTube/Scott Bradlee

Let’s be honest, besides having an amazing voice, it takes some pretty big cajones to take on a song as iconic as Patsy Cline’s (and Willie Nelson’s) “Crazy.” Even people who aren’t country music fans know this legendary hit, and many even know the story of Patsy’s reluctance to record it. But it doesn’t sound like rising star Annie Bosko hesitated one bit.

But why should she? With a powerhouse vocal like this, and a great honky-tonk piano from Scott Bradlee, Annie owns this classic.

If you aren’t familiar with Annie, she’s a west coast singer-songwriter who moved to Nashville more for the writing part. But singing demos got her more involved with the performance end. And, according to “Rolling Stone,” she toured with both Darius Rucker and Adele as a background vocalist.

She also had a brush with “American Idol” fame but, surprisingly, didn’t advance to the televised portion.

Annie’s first single, “Crooked Halo,” garnered critical acclaim for it’s sassy lyric and upbeat thumping groove. The companion video reveals that this Cali girl is just as sassy, twice as sexy and ready to take country music by the horns.
