This just in: Miranda Lambert’s man Anderson East can sing anything.

I mean, we’d pay good money to listen to him sing the phone book.

The proof is in this video circulating the web at the moment, where in the middle of a show in Nashville, Anderson decided break out a solid gold Mariah Carey classic.

It’s her smash from 1996, “Always Be My Baby.”

I know, I know, at first we, too, were like, “He’s singing Mariah?” But you’ve gotta have some pipes to take on a Mariah tune.

Fortunately, Anderson does, and he putting a hurtin’ on this cover!

Remaining true to his swampy, soulful style, Anderson had the horn section blaring and his smoky voice belting out the lyrics to the crowd’s delight.

And we didn’t know he had such smooth dance moves.

Miranda, you are one lucky lady!

Anderson was performing with Brandi Carlile at nightclub The Basement East that night, and later on, he joined Brandi for a thrilling performance her song “Josephine.”

These two sound magical together!

Miranda was in the audience that night, just watching and supporting her man from the crowd and absolutely loving the music. Now, if she had jumped up for a little impromptu performance with Brandi and Anderson, we might have just passed out cold.
