It’s not every day that you fall in love with someone who shares the same passion as you do. But Maren Morris and her fiancé, singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd, beat the odds!

The two artists, who are quickly joining the ranks of great performing couples like Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood and Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, visited SiriusXM’s “The Highway” channel on Aug. 24.

While there, the recently engaged pair sang a few songs, including their nostalgic duet, “Last Turn Home.”

In this clip, Maren and Ryan can be seen sitting side-by-side with their acoustic guitars in hand. Ryan, who sports a T-shirt and ripped jeans, shows off his raspy vocals on the first verse. Meanwhile, Maren, who dons a blue dress and tennis shoes, holds back a few lines before blending her vocals in beautiful harmony with her future husband.

“Last Turn Home” is a unique song for Maren and Ryan because they helped co-write it long before they ever got romantically involved with each other. The ballad, which they penned with fellow songwriter Eric Arjes, first appeared on Tim McGraw’s 2014 album, “Sundown Heaven Town.”

“That was a really cool thing to have Tim McGraw record it,” Ryan told SiriusXM’s Storme Warren. “I mean, it’s always an honor when anybody records your song, as a writer, just because they could potentially sing that song for the rest of their career. But it’s always been cool for us as our first cut with a country artist.”

In the fall, Maren and Ryan will head out on her “The Hero Tour 2017.” The 10-date trek begins October 5 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and wraps October 28 in Wichita, Kansas. The two will also perform a run of international dates in November. Hopefully by then they’ll be Mr. and Mrs. Hurd!
