“America’s Got Talent” finalists Angelica Hale and Kechi Okwuchi didn’t take home the top prize this season, but they did receive the opportunity of a lifetime. They got to team up with pop powerhouse Kelly Clarkson on her empowering 2012 hit “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” as part of the season 12 finale episode on Sept. 20.
Kelly didn’t step out on the Dolby Theatre stage in Los Angeles right away for the performance. Instead, she let Keshi and 10-year-old Angelica trade lines on the first verse of the dance club smash.

In this clip, Kechi, who many may know as the singer who miraculously survived a deadly plane crash, tackles the first few lines of the pop hit before handing off vocal duties to precious Angelica. Then the two contestants welcome Kelly out for the chorus.
After dazzling the studio and TV audiences with “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” Kelly returned to the stage solo with her newest single, “Love So Soft,” from her upcoming studio album, “Meaning of Life,” due out Oct. 27. Many fans may already know that Kelly is no stranger to performing on reality competition shows. In fact, the 35-year-old, who won the first season of “American Idol” 15 years ago, had a reunion of sorts, as her former “Idol” judge, Simon Cowell, was sitting in the front row as an “AGT” judge.
“Always love seeing my favorite judge @simoncowell & my new twitter bestie @tyrabanks! Thanks @AGT for a fun night!” She tweeted after the show.
