You can’t deny it — Kane Brown shows an excitement about his new music that rises beyond the level even most country music artists show to their fans. Sometimes it feels as if Kane is so excited to share new music that he literally can’t wait.
Heck, he even shares his music right from from his own kitchen.
And that’s just what Kane did once again on March 11 as he shared a new song, possibly called “Homesick,” on his socials, singing along to a track playing behind him while seemingly getting into every emotion of the song … and taking us right along with him on every note.
As Rare Country previously reported, Kane shared another new song from his kitchen, possibly called “Lose It,” on March 7.
And while we can’t be sure what Kane’s team thinks of the way he eagerly shares what he’s working on, as fans we know we love it! His followers will recall that it’s this transparency and direct-to-fans connection that made Kane a star in the first place, as the young man from Georgia would routinely share videos of his country covers on social media, causing a frenzy that quickly got the attention of Nashville.
And now that’s he has music industry’s attention, he’s basking in it. Just recently, the 2018 ACM Award double-nominated singer’s team announced that he had just notched his eighth week at No. 1 on the “Billboard” Top Country Albums chart. Since his debut release in December of 2016, no other country album has held the top spot for as many weeks.
That record just might continue into the foreseeable future, as Kane shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, his Gold-certified single “Heaven” is currently No. 1 on Nielsen’s On Demand Audio Core Country Streaming chart, and is on the verge of the top 10 on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase charts.
“Heaven” serves as the perfect follow-up to Kane’s last hit “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina, which is still 2018’s most streamed song to date. The song is also up for Vocal Collaboration of the Year at “The 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards” broadcasting live on April 15 on CBS. Kane was also nominated for New Male Vocalist of the Year.
