Country music star Jana Kramer has never been hooked on drugs or alcohol, but she has been addicted to love before.

The 33-year-old bombshell sings about the pain of getting hurt in past relationships in her latest song, “I’ve Done Love,” which dropped on Aug. 18. Now, she is sharing a stripped down version of the tune that so many people can easily relate too.

In this video, two acoustic guitar players provide accompaniment for Jana, while she effortlessly puts her southern twang on the emotional song. Even though she’s been wounded in the past, her performance is proof that she’s become a pro at overcoming heartbreak.

“I’ve taken hits, woke up hungover/ On a bender, stone-cold sober/ Slammed the door right off the hinges/ Hotel rooms and midnight binges/ Risked my life, had too much of things I swore I’d never touch/ So don’t tell me I’ve never done the hard stuff/ ‘Cause I’ve done love,” the resilient star sings, while tapping her toes to the melody.

“I’ve Done Love” was co-written by Nashville-based songwriters Josh Osborne, Nicolle Galyon and Shane McAnally. But the song came to Jana through Nicole. “We met, drank wine and shared our life’s stories,” Jana explained in recent a Facebook post, “We created a bond over how life has hit us at times, but we never fell down without getting back up.”

In 2016, Jana opened up about the domestic abuse she endured from her first husband, the late Michael Gambino. She even recounted a terrifying ordeal in which he nearly killed her. Despite the frightening incident, she went on to marry actor Johnathon Schaech, and then became engaged to fellow country singer Brantley Gilbert. In 2015, Jana wed Michael Caussin. While, the two separated last year, they share Jana’s forever love – daughter Jolie Rae — and appear to have been spending time together again recently.
