Aside from pleasing crowds with her many hits, country music superstar Miranda Lambert has managed to work some spectacular covers into her set lists.

During her stop at the Country Jam in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on July 21, she surprised fans with a cover of U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” from the band’s 1987 album, “The Joshua Tree. ”

Fans went nuts as Miranda — clad in a fashionable fringed top, sparkly tights and and a pair of cowgirl boots — gripped the microphone to belt out the beginning lyrics of the rock ballad for the first time onstage.

They also couldn’t help but sing along when she tossed the second verse over to her backup singer, Gwen Sebastian, before the rest of her band mates added their vocals on the tune.

“I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” may seem like an odd choice for Miranda to sing, but she has previously credited U2 for inspiring her.

In fact, in June she and boyfriend Anderson East attended one of U2’s concerts in Louisville, Kentucky. The experience was so life changing for Miranda that she posted a photo from the show on Instagram, and captioned it, “This changed my life. And my way of thinking. About music & art. About drive & heart. 💗Thank you @u2. I’ll never be the same.”
