To this day, when we hear this song, it still makes us want to cry, too.

But it’s okay—we’ve officially come to terms with the fact that we’re never going to get over Eric Church’s “Springsteen.” It’s one of his most masterful lyrics and stories in song to date, and it still gets to every one of his audiences.

The crowd at Tim Tebow’s annual charity gala was no exception. Eric dressed in his best black suit and performed at the March 2 soiree as part of Tim’s 2018 Tim Tebow Foundation Celebrity Gala and Golf Classic in Florida, a weekend of golf, fun and entertainment to raise money for the athlete’s foundation.

“Thank you Eric Church for absolutely killin’ it Friday night and for helping us change a lot of lives,” Tim captioned a video of the performance.

One fan commented our exact thoughts: “Tim Tebow AND Eric Church?? HEAVEN.”

Can we get an amen?

We were also totally blown away by another performer at the event, Rion Paige. You may remember this beautiful songbird from her journey on ‘The X Factor.” She’s still killing the music game and is a warrior. Rion is almost blind in her right eye, and also has a condition called arthrogryposis multiplex congenita that causes the joints in her hands to curve. But nothing stands in this girl’s way. She’s a force, and with a voice like that, she’s gonna take the world by storm!

You have to hear her take on Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.”

Members of the Duck Dynasty clan were also on hand. Tim snagged a photo with Missy and Jase Robertson, as well as Lisa Robertson and Al Robertson—you know, the one without a massive beard.

And, of course, everyone was thrilled to see expectant parents Chip and Joanna Gaines.

And boy did they have a big announcement for us all. With the help of their new friend Gage, they revealed the gender of baby number five, as Rare Country previously reported.
