Florida resident turned Nashville transplant Bryce Maulden seems like the total package when it comes to being an aspiring country star. He’s talented, charming and easy on the eyes. Not to mention, he makes hearts melt with his impressive country serenades.
Rare Country first introduced you to the 20-year-old singer back in July when he released an emotional cover version of Tim McGraw’s, “If You’re Reading This” on his social media pages.
Now, the viral music sensation is blowing people away with his incredible cover of John Michael Montgomery’s ’90s hit, “I Swear” — also made famous by pop-group “All-4-One.”
In this video, which has already garnered more than 80,000 views since it hit Facebook on Aug. 16, Bryce can be heard thanking his fans for all of their support while he continues to chase his dreams. He then passionately belts out the song that became a hit nearly three years before he was born. Now that’s pretty impressive, right?
It’s easy to tell that Bryce has so much control in his voice as he incorporates amazing runs and long notes into his karaoke performance. And while it’s obvious that he’s talented, he also knows that reaching his dream takes hard work and dedication.
After posting his cover video of “I Swear,” Bryce took to Facebook again to let fans know that he auditioned for the upcoming “American Idol” reboot.
“Well, I ended up auditioning for ‘American Idol’ this morning in Orlando, Florida,” he explained to his followers, “I did not make it. It’s okay though, we don’t need ‘American Idol’ to do big things. You guys have already gotten me further than I ever expected and, with your support and my hard work, we will make it to the top!! 🙌🏻 Thank you to everyone who believes in me and supports me. ”
We’re rooting for you Bryce! You sound amazing, and we can’t wait to see what you do next!
