Country music’s newest prince takes on a cover by the king Instagram/@BryceMauldin25

Every time young Bryce Mauldin shares another video of himself performing some great country song, we’re blown away by his immense raw talent. But when he said he was covering a George Strait classic, we had reservations because … well, George. But Bryce did the smart thing. He didn’t try to sound like George and he didn’t try to make crazy changes to “You Look So Good In Love.” He just sang.

And boy, does he sing pretty.

Bryce shared the new video clip on his Instagram page. He’s casually perched on a kitchen counter, guitar in hand instead of relying on the recorded tracks he’s used as accompaniment in previous performances.

Now, in case you missed it, this handsome young fella from Florida recently made the big move to Nashville. He’s still new to the city and getting adjusted to his home, but we expect to hear more from him soon.

Whether he sticks with traditional country songs, like the George Strait and Randy Travis cuts we’ve heard him cover, or goes with a more contemporary groove, like Jason Aldean or Sam Hunt — who he has also covered — remains to be seen. We just know we’re eager to hear what’s next on Bryce’s musical journey.
