There once was a time when you not only needed talent to make it in the country music business, but you also needed some contacts, many accolades and a whole lot of luck.
But these days, you might only need an Instagram account and a guitar.
In fact, many recently-emerged country artists are making quite a name for themselves via social media, with several of them seeing much success by posting down and dirty country cover songs to their loyal and growing fandoms. Of course, Kane Brown is one of the social media generation’s biggest success stories as of late, as he was once just a kid posting country covers from the bathroom of his childhood home.
And now, Kane is on the charts with a gold-certified single under his belt.
The latest guy to get some major attention from young country fans is Noah Schnacky, 20, who routinely puts up country covers on his page, much to the delight of his 367,000 Instagram followers. His latest short video is just the chorus of Lee Brice’s “I Don’t Dance,” where his voice and his hypnotizing eyes shine.
In an IMDb bio it says that Noah, who is also an actor, has been writing and recording songs since the age of 12 and is currently working on an EP in Nashville set to come out by the end of the year.
