We can’t say that one country star loves their fans any more than another because, truth be told, country stars in general adore their fans. That’s not just because they keep them in a job, but also because those fans don’t hesitate to show their support. Blake Shelton, who has some of the most die-hard fans in the biz, got an especially sparkly show of support in Canada recently.

Appearing at the Country Thunder music festival in Calgary, Alberta, Blake was blown away when seemingly the entire audience raised their cell phones overhead during his performance.

In fact, he was so floored by the gesture that he asked them to hold the pose so someone on his team could get a picture. “I was thinking how cool it would be if I could get a picture of y’all doing this for the time that I got to play Country Thunder in Calgary and I could hang this in my bar in my house,” he said. “So please, that’s so cool. Will y’all please just keep doing that until I get done playing?” The jovial country star then joked, “Pretend like you know this song and you would have done this anyway.”

Blake then launched into his 2008 hit single, “Home,” which all of his fans obviously know and, per his request and their own enthusiasm, the grounds were lit up. It is pretty magical.
