Just as we started thinking Lady Antebellum’s already wildly popular “You Look Good World Tour” couldn’t get any better, they went and proved us wrong!
The Grammy-winning trio, made up of members Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, surprised fans on Aug. 11, when special guest Kevin Jonas joined them onstage during their stop at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.
Kevin made an appearance to help the group perform their 2008 tune, “Lookin’ For A Good Time,” off their self-titled debut studio album. Charles and Hillary sang lead, while Kevin, who is the oldest member of the Jonas Brothers, jammed out on guitar with Dave and handled some vocals as well.
After the show, Lady A took to Twitter to share their excitement about having their friend onstage. They wrote, “Super fun time having @KevinJonas come out and tear it up with us last night!!! 🎸 #YouLookGoodWorldTour @PNCArtsCenter.”
Kevin also tweeted to Lady A, saying, “Thank you @ladyantebellum for having me tonight so much fun!!”
There’s no doubt that country music has embraced the Jonas Brothers. Earlier this year Kevin’s younger brother, Nick, joined country icon Shania Twain onstage at the Stagecoach Festival in California to duet on “Party For Two,” a song she performs with Billy Currington on the recorded version.
Lady A’s “You Look Good World Tour,” which launched in late May, features openers Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young. The international trek runs through mid-October.
