Country music star Kacey Musgraves stopped by the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Feb. 26, and treated fans to her brand-new song, “Space Cowboy.”

During her debut television performance of the ballad, the 29-year-old Texan wore her long black hair down, and shimmered in a form-fitting, silver bodysuit that hugged her curves. Meanwhile, her seven-piece backing band looked dapper in matching suits.

As Kacey belted out the heartbreaking torch song about letting go of a cowboy lover with her soft, honeyed vocals, she utilized her hands to reflect the emotion of the vulnerable and clever lyrics.

“You can have your space, cowboy / I won’t fence you in / Go on ride away in your Silverado / I’ll see you around again / ‘Cause I know my place, and it ain’t with you / Sunsets fade, and love does too / Oh, we had our day in the sun / When a horse wants to run / ain’t no sense in closing the gate / You can have your space,” she sang with so much passion in her voice.

Kacey, who just so happens to call herself “Spacey Kacey” on her social media accounts, took to Instagram after her TV performance and applauded her band and crew with words of praise for all of their hard work.

“ ✨🚀✨ Huge props to my band and crew. We had fun last night! ✨” she wrote, alongside mini clips of the performance.

Fans quickly made note of how much they loved “Space Cowboy.”

“I love this song @spaceykacey so good!” one follower wrote.

“I have been listening to this on repeat!” another fan added. “Love, love, love it!”

Other followers gushed over Kacey’s eye-catching bodysuit.

“💎Sparkle city. So pretty.💎” one person wrote.

Another fan added, “I want to wear that jumpsuit for my wedding.”
