With Mother’s Day is upon us, many people’s thoughts are turning to those women in our lives that have not only given birth to us, but have also raised us to be the people we are today.
It’s certainly worthy of a celebration, that’s for sure.

And for one member of the Zac Brown Band, Mother’s Day is sure to take on a whole new meaning! Zac Brown Band’s Clay Cook and wife Brooke announced May 6 on Clay’s Instagram account that they are expecting.
“We are PREGNANT!” Clay posted to Instagram, along with a photo of his wife. “So happy. She’s going to be the best Mommy EVER! I’m so damn lucky in this life.”
Major bonus points for that sweet message Clay!

Of course, Clay will undoubtedly be going to Zac Brown for some parenting advice, as Zac has five children with his wife, Shelly. “I want them to grow up canning in the kitchen with us and making preserves,” Zac told “Southern Living Magazine.” “To learn what it means to really fish. What it means to have a job. I want to make sure they know that there’s no free ride. You don’t want spoiled kids in high school that end up being worthless later on. I want to teach them perspective. That’s important.”
