You have to see the cutest Blake Shelton video from “The Angry Birds Movie” YouTube

It’s a nice break, and it’s a fun song.

Blake Shelton has ruled the news in the last year or so, but for the most part it’s either been Blake & Gwen, Blake & Miranda or Blake & “The Voice.” When it was finally about new music, it was about his new single “Came Here To Forget.” which is a passionate song about everything he’s been through recently that he performed at this year’s ACM Awards.

Thankfully, “The Angry Birds Movie” has made Blake smile again.

Built on up-tempo fun, “Friends” brings it all together. Banjo, fiddle, pedal steel and harmonica join forces with a driving guitar and come together for one of the most country songs we’ve heard from Blake in a while.

The video is a lot of fun, too. Shot in studio, Blake and his band welcome his new Hollywood friends from the movie. Smiling all the way through, this is the way we like our Blake.

Blake does more for the movie than just contribute a song. He also voices the character of the hillbilly pig. Some of the all-star cast includes “Saturday Night Live” superstars Jason Sudeikis, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader and Kate McKinnon.

“The Angry Birds Movie” comes out on May 20.
