If ever you wanted to feel optimistic about the future of country music, all you have to do is witness this moment during a recent Kane Brown concert.

Kane, a rising country star from Georgia best known for his country YouTube covers and his current single, “Used to Love You Sober,” has often been mistaken for just another country star wanna-be sporting a slew of tattoos. But what has always set Kane apart has been his respect and adoration for the country music of yesteryear – and the feeling that we must never forget to pay homage to the artists who have made country music what it is today.

So when he pulled out the ole George Strait hit “Check Yes or No” at a recent concert, the crowd went crazy, singing along with every word and reminding everyone in attendance that both young and old remain committed to remembering traditional country music.

Kane is currently out on the road with Florida Georgia Line, Cole Swindell and Cadillac Three as part of the 2016 Dig Your Roots Tour.
