On June 2 during opening night of Keith Urban’s Ripcord World Tour in Kansas City, Missouri, the star gave two Oklahoma girls one big surprise.
But, little did he know that they also had a surprise for him.
As you can see in the above clip, after Keith noticed two teens holding up a sign, which read “We need KU hugs,” he invited them onstage. And it’s clear that once the fans were within arm’s reach of the country crooner, they couldn’t contain their excitement. Heck, even the roaring crowd couldn’t resist supporting the blondes with epic cheers!
But aside from being the lucky ladies who got to join the Aussie on the Providence Medical Center stage that night, what made that moment even more spectacular was when they gifted Keith with a John 3:16 guitar strap.
Talk about deserving those “KU hugs”!

If that’s not enough of a “Sweet Thing,” the trio also snapped a photo together to capture the special moment.
On June 10, Keith will continue his Ripcord World Tour in Myrtle Beach, S.C., for the Carolina Country Music Festival and then on June 11, he will head to Alpharetta, Georgia’s Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. Both Maren Morris and Brett Eldredge will join him as openers.
