The wife of missing country singer Craig Strickland is still holding out hope that search teams will find her husband. His boat capsized earlier this week in Oklahoma while on a hunting trip. Strickland’s friend, Chase Morland, was found dead, and the singer’s dog was found alive walking along the bank of the river.

As they go forward with the search, your prayers and well wishes are helping keep Helen Strickland strong as she goes through the darkest days of her life.

She says in an interview with Arkansas TV station KHSB, “Every time there is a post from some random person who I have never met before and they say, ‘Hey, I don’t know who you are. I am reading this and praying for you and my heart goes out to you,’ it is almost like I don’t have to hurt on my own.”

She goes on to thank the local sheriff and Oklahoma Highway Patrol for leading in the search for her missing husband.

“Especially going through the struggle, this is the most comforting thing that you can have.”
