Like many country stars, Audrey “Faith” Perry was raised going to church regularly and as soon as it was discovered that young Faith had an aptitude for singing, she began singing in church — her own and others in the surrounding area.

Her gift was obviously and literally Heaven sent.

Although Faith had a single out four years ago, “American Heart,” her last collection of country music, “Fireflies,” was released 11 years ago. She does continue to make appearances on husband Tim McGraw’s tour, but Faith has other interests as well.

In 2015, she appeared in the crime drama “Dixieland,” which also starred fellow musician Steve Earle, and she’s taking the producer’s chair for an upcoming daytime talk show to include Kellie Pickler as a co-host. Wife to Tim, mom to three teenage daughters — Gracie, Maggie and Audrey — and all the rest, Faith is by anyone’s definition, a woman who has it all.

But deep down inside, she’s still that little girl singing from the Baptist hymnal on Sunday morning. She appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in 2006 and after Oprah heard Faith rehearsing a song that was special to the talk show icon, she requested that the country star perform it during the show.

We know Faith has a beautiful, gutsy, raw voice, and during this performance of the traditional “I Surrender All,” you can hear every ounce of conviction with every phrase.

And it gives us goose bumps.
