Wedding bells will soon be ringing for another country music family Instagram/@wynonnajudd

Traditionally, “seven-year-itch” is a term that describes the discontentment that often arises after seven years of a relationship, usually marriage. But for Wynonna Judd’s son, Elijah, the seven-year mark in his relationship meant something entirely different.

It meant it was time to pop the question!

Wynonna shared a photo album on her Instagram page that takes fans into the magical moment. Outside, with luminarias in the background spelling out “Marry Me?” Elijah dropped to one knee and popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Hailey. And it appears that she said “yes!”

As excited as we’re sure Hailey and Elijah are, it sounds like Mom is right there, too. In her caption, Wynonna writes, “My son Elijah proposed to his love of seven years, Hailey, last night. I am one proud Mama! Merry Christmas indeed!!! ❤️”

The second photo shows off Hailey’s sparkler, and it appears to be an emerald cut diamond encircled by a halo of smaller diamonds and perched on a band of diamonds. A lot of diamonds, and a lot of sparkles.

It also appears as if several members of the future bride and groom’s families were present to help celebrate the big news, including Wy’s husband, Cactus Moser, so they took the opportunity to grab a first family photo, posing at the bottom of a grand staircase.

Elijah Judd Kelley is Wynonna’s firstborn with her former husband, Arch Kelley. The 23-year-old was born Dec. 23, 1994. The couple married in 1996 and Elijah’s sister, Grace, was born later that year.

Wynonna and Cactus, her third husband, tied the knot on her farm in rural Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee, in 2015.

Wy and her band, The Big Noise, which includes Cactus, spent much of 2017 touring the United States on the “Roots & Revival Tour.” The family is now on a short holiday break, but they actually have a show on their calendar for Dec. 28 in Biloxi, Mississippi.

They’ll hit the road hard and heavy starting later in January though, and are currently showing dates all the way into August.

There’s no word on a new album release yet, but Wy and The Big Noise released their last self-titled project in 2016, so we may have a little while to wait.
