We still can’t get this catchy Keith Urban chart topper out of our heads youtube

Keith Urban may have been a married man when he started singing the words “I wanna kiss a girl, I wanna hold her tight,” but that doesn’t mean more than a few ladies weren’t ready and willing to help the country music superstar make that happen.

Sorry, ladies. It wasn’t going to happen.

Not unless your name was Nicole.

By the time Keith released the video for “Kiss A Girl” in April of 2009, which served as the second single from his “Defying Gravity” album, the catchy tune had been living on the radio for a month and a half.

With a cool mix of animation and real video, “Kiss A Girl” was the perfect song for spring when fans were finally able to roll their car windows down again and turn this song up really loud. In fact, the timing, the song, the video — they all seemed to work, as “Kiss A Girl” broke some new ground for the country boy from Australia. No stranger to big hit songs on the country charts, “Kiss A Girl” actually also found a home on the pop charts, driving all the way up to number 16. To this day, it’s still his only Top 20 on that chart.
