There are plenty of happy moments during Wynonna’s 2016 Christmas show, but there are other times during the show you’re just left in awe.

One of those moments happens at the end when she sits down on a stool and lays into “Hallelujah.” There’s just one electric guitar accompanying her, and it’s a stunning display of Wynonna’s signature vocals.

“Hallelujah” has even more meaning now since we lost the writer of the song, Leonard Cohen, on Nov. 7, 2016. He first released “Hallelujah” in 1984, but it’s gained new life in the past few years thanks to multiple covers of the song by acts ranging from Willie Nelson to Kelly Clarkson.
