Watch thousands of fans go crazy over Thomas Rhett’s No. 1 hit CMT

The streets of Nashville were packed — and for good reason.

Thomas Rhett is in town.

Thomas tore into the performance of his No. 1 hit “T-Shirt” just outside the Bridgestone Arena, where the CMT Music Awards were talking place. With his signature swagger on display and his wife, Lauren, undoubtedly on his mind, Thomas caused the crowd to go into an all-out frenzy over the song, which is featured on his sophomore album, “Tangled.” You can watch his full performance, plus other award show moments here.

“I never would have imagined when I started on this journey that I’d have six No. 1’s in a row,” Thomas said in a recent press release. “Vacation is the perfect follow-up to me because it’s becoming one of my favorite songs to play live. It’s all about letting loose and having fun, wherever you are, and that’s what we want people to do at our shows. We want our shows to be a mini vacation for everyone, from the front to the back. And hopefully, if you are stuck in traffic or on your way to work, this song will take you to that place for a few minutes, too.”
