With a ginormous catalog of hit songs, a handful of trophies and at least a dozen records to her name, it’s safe to say that Martina McBride has carved out a pretty successful career in country music.

So, it was no surprise at all that fans went nuts when she took the stage at the second annual “We’re All For The Hall” benefit concert featuring Keith Urban and Friends in 2010.

Singing her 1997 chart-topper, “Broken Wing,” Martina soars as country hit-makers Vince Gill and Keith Urban play backup on guitar. The country crooners also added a few harmony vocals on the chorus, while Martina belted out the tune’s lyrics.

Now, one of those crooners will be blending harmonies with the powerhouse singer again.

And, we couldn’t be more pleased!

Martina and Keith have teamed up to release a fresh new cut called “Diamonds.” The song — penned by Nicole Galyon, Eric Paslay and Liz Rose — is a high-tempo duet that compares the female to a precious and strong jewel.

“He’s really nice. So, when I ask him to sing on my records he says yes,” Martina tells Rare Country, “but more than that, I just think that our voices sound really good together. I really love his voice. It’s so distinguishable. So, you can just tell who it is when he starts singing.”

Surprisingly, this wasn’t the only duet shared between the megastars. In 1997 Martina and Keith collaborated on break-up ballad, “Tryin’ to Find a Reason.”

And if they need any more reason for pairing on “Diamonds” it’s because these two have outstanding musical chemistry.
