Luke Bryan may have thrown out the rule book during a recent concert in State College, Pennsylvania on April 15, 2016.

The singer took the stage with opening act Little Big Town to do his normal set list on his Kill the Lights Tour, which includes a cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” but when the band began to play, so did Luke.

Showing off his goofball side that girls just can’t help but love, the “Strip It Down” singer got a little sweet on LBT’s Phillip Sweet when he went in for a giant hug.

Can somebody say jealous? Perhaps Luke was just trying to show his single fans how to hook up.

“If you cannot hook up in the next six minutes, then you’ve got…serious…you have no game,” Luke jokingly told his fans.

Moving around onstage, it isn’t until the chorus that the Georgian starts to sing fifth-part harmony. Of course, that all changes when he requests a few tequila shots and channels “Happy Birthday.” As the audience roars, Luke then flaunts his falsetto with the first lines of Marvin Gaye’s sultry “Let’s Get It On” — complete with a Luke shake.

Both country acts are probably used to covering Ed and Marvin by now. In fact, they’ve been singing the tunes since opening day of the tour. Now that they’ve mastered them, fans get to appreciate that extra dose of fun.

On April 29, Luke heads to Concord, California, and then on April 30, he will continue his tour in Fresno. The Kill The Lights Tour wraps on Oct. 29 in Detroit.
