Watch Lee Greenwood welcome the next generation of his family to the stage Instagram/@leegreenwoodusa

Lee Greenwood has achieved a lot in his career. He’s performed for multiple presidents, won a Grammy, has three CMA Awards and entertained troops around the world.

That all pales in comparison to the pride he feels watching his son, Dalton, carry on the family tradition of music.

It doesn’t look like Dalton will be following in his famous daddy’s footsteps, but the college student is taking an interest in music.

Lee just posted this video of Dalton singing “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” with his choir ensemble at William and Lee in Lexington, Virginia. It turns out that song has some history within the Greenwood family.

Lee writes, “This is our son Dalton singing the same song that his mother Kim sang in my Christmas show 20 years ago! Not bad for a BioChem major!” He then caps it off with the hashtag, #proudparents.

A quick spin through Lee’s Instagram account shows he spends a ton of time with his wife and two sons traveling around the world. Here’s a shot of Lee and his sons hanging out Kid Rock at a show not that long ago.

Lee is keeping very busy on the road with shows booked through February 2017. He’s also got a new children’s book out based on his signature hit, “God Bless the U.S.A.” Check it out at
