Watch Keith Urban, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush sing a cappella on this Eagles classic YouTube

Back in 2009, Keith Urban was on a high with his “Defying Gravity” album, while Sugarland was on a country music roll of success And on Aug. 21 that year, the Aussie and the duo teamed up to become a triple threat.

It all happened during Keith’s Escape Together World Tour in Cleveland. Needless to say, his fans were in for a real treat.

“We’re going to do something a little special tonight seeing as how we are here” said Keith. “I’m going to do a quick song with my good friends.”

He then invited Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush up to the stage to sing “Seven Bridges Road.”

It’s quite comical to see Jennifer back then. She can barely contain her own excitement with the momentous crowd. It actually looks as though she’s not yet accustomed to singing in front of a large audience. Running onstage, she high fives as many hands as she can before Keith helps her out with the microphone.

Of course, once Jennifer and the boys sing the first words to the classic song, their glorious harmonies surrounding one microphone is so enthralling that the crowd goes nuts.

“Seven Bridges Road” was a song made famous by the Eagles, but made its first debut on Steve Young’s “Rock Salt & Nails” record. Steve, who penned the classic, died in Nashville on March 17, 2016.
