Kane Brown moved into a new house just outside Nashville, and he’s quickly filling it up with plaques and awards from his exploding music career.

We’ve got video of Kane accepting two big new honors during a break from his tour with buddy Jason Aldean. This summer, Kane headed into his record label for a routine meeting, and to watch one of the guys on his team get a special award. At least, that’s what Kane’s team told him.

As you can see in this clip, Kane was just sitting on the front row next to his fiancée, Kaitlyn Jae,  when he suddenly realized he was actually the one being honored. He was awarded a gold single for “What Ifs,” featuring his pal Lauren Alaina. Seeing the surprised and happy look on Kane’s face is priceless.

We caught up with him shortly after that big moment. Kane tells Rare Country, “I had no idea. It was an awesome surprise.”

Kane also accepted his trophy for our own Rare Country Awards’ New Artist of the Year, which is a fan-voted honor. The fans that voted for Kane are the same ones who started watching and sharing the videos of him singing cover songs, which ultimately led to his record deal.

Kane says of the Rare Country honor, “It’ s just awesome, ’cause I know my fans are there for me. They’re my backbone. They’re my army. So, I just want to say thank you all so much for voting for me. Thank you Rare Country for even nominating me. It’s an awesome feeling.”

As you can see from this Instagram photo, the “What Ifs” plaque has made it to Kane’s new house, and he’s got a plan for where he’s going to hang it. Kane’s producer, Dann Huff, is also the man behind tons of hits from Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and many more.

Kane tells us, “I’ve been over to Dann Huff’s house … and he’s got all his lined up going up the stairs. So, that’s where I’ve started mine. I thought that was pretty cool.”

We can’t wait to see Kane keep on racking up those gold and platinum albums as his star continues to rise.

Congratulations, Kane!
