Justin Moore took over a Waffle House late one night in August 2016 after playing three honky-tonks in downtown Nashville. It was all part of his week-long celebration of his album, “Kinda Don’t Care.” He’s touring Waffle Houses across the country, and you can find the new album featured on those iconic Waffle House jukeboxes.

As a “soldier of the road,” Justin knows his way around the 24-hour roadside diner. Rare Country caught up with Justin just before he took his place behind the grill to cook up some hash browns and eggs.

He says, “My favorite is the Texas cheesesteak. I’m pretty certain that it’s 12,000 calories.”

In this video, you’ll notice Justin doesn’t look too happy to see us when he’s walking in the door. He repeatedly asks during the interview, “Who invited you? How did you get in?” We’ve done a few interviews in the past, and we’re guessing we asked the wrong things. Special shoutout to the folks at Justin’s record label and the Waffle House crew for letting us in the door.

It’s all in good fun. Justin is truly a hilarious guy who’s up for just about anything.
