Blake Shelton never saw it coming.

In this new video, you can see the country superstar was just chilling out on Aug. 30 in Nashville getting ready to attend a party for his 22nd No. 1 hit, “Came Here to Forget.” Someone on his team had Blake sign a guitar, and the whole scene looks really normal.

That is until a box on the floor suddenly opens up and a woman bursts out squealing at Blake.

No. Blake clearly recognizes this lady as his stylist, Amanda Craig. The two shared a big hug, and Blake even posted video of the hair-raising moment on Twitter.

Amanda, we’re thinking you better watch your back. You know, Blake’s got a wicked sense of humor, and payback is a big ole bitch.

After picking up a few more plaques for his No. 1 song, “Came Here to Forget,” Blake headed down to Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium for the ACM Honors taping to pay tribute to honoree Glen Campbell. You can catch that show Sept. 9 on CBS.

Also, look for Blake to kick off his fall tour with RaeLynn on Sept. 9 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
