Watch as Scotty McCreery gets seductive on an old Charlie Wilson hit

We knew Scotty McCreery had rhythm and soul but never knew he had this much.

At a “Forever Charlie” tour stop in North Carolina on Feb. 18, R&B legend Charlie Wilson invited McCreery up on stage to join him on his 2005 song “Charlie, Last Name Wilson”. And while the American Idol Season 10 winner and country music recording artist looked hesitant to take on the hit at first, McCreery took charge quickly with a rendition that had the crowd in attendance going crazy.

Personalizing the hit with his name and a few random facts about himself, McCreery seemed in awe of having the chance to sing with one of his musical idols. In fact, McCreery has been a fan of Wilson’s since has was just a teen. McCreery brought family and friends to the concert, but was said to be shocked that he was asked to come up on stage.

“That was a night I’ll never forget,” said McCreery, who also got to spend some time with Wilson backstage. “Charlie is an amazing performer and such a gentleman. I never expected to meet him, let alone be asked to join him on stage – that was a huge honor.”
