Back in 2014, all eyes were affixed on Sam Hunt.

A relative newcomer on the country music scene who looked more like a GQ model than anything else, Sam had quite a challenge in front of him. Not only did he need to find a way to win over millions of country music fans, but he also had to get the approval from an often tough industry for an “outsider” to break into.

But on one particular night in 2014, Sam made a huge step in the right direction.

It was on that night that he stepped out onto country music’s most prestigious stage – the Grand Ole Opry. With just a guitarist by his side, he performed his hit “Take Your Time” and before the song was through, he was well on his way to earning the respect he deserved.

In the months that followed that groundbreaking performance, Sam would go on to rack up the hits with infectious songs such as “House Party” and “Break Up in a Small Town.” Currently, Sam is making a ruckus on the country music charts with his most recent hit, “Make You Miss Me.”
