On April 29, Eric Church headlined the annual Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, California.

Needless to say, the country outlaw sure did live up to the festival’s hype!

While the North Carolina native played a 19-song set list, we can only think of name-checking one specific song of his – the ultimate party anthem of “Drink in My Hand.”

As you can see in the video, Eric rocks out on his guitar on the Empire Polo Club’s Mane stage adorned by palm trees and flanked by two huge posters featuring a couple of horse riders. Clad in his signature dark pair of sunglasses, country music’s resident bad boy makes no mistake to delight his rowdy church crowd, and we can only imagine that they’re filling up their cups with a little bit of liquid courage during this tune. Heck, even one fan can’t stop waving around that cowboy hat of his!

Topping off his performance with a long drawn out howl, it’s no wonder this festival pulls in such a massive draw each year.

This isn’t the first time Eric played the fun-filled jamboree though. In fact, for him, headlining the event this year is kind of bittersweet. Not only is Stagecoach Music Festival in its 10th year, but back in 2007, during its inception, Eric also played for its grand opening.
