It’s easy to love Darius Rucker, especially when he opens his mouth to sing a song. And in this exclusive Rare Country clip from the new movie “American Saturday Night: Live From The Grand Ole Opry,” Darius delivers one of his most personal odes of love to everything from his love of music to his love for his dear mama.

“It’s always good for me to come back home to the Grand Ole Opry,” expresses Darius before singing his song “So I Sang” in the movie, which is playing exclusively at more than 200 Carmike Cinemas starting on Feb. 12. “Ever since I was a 4-year-old kid, all I wanted to do was sing for a living. This is a song about the fact that all I wanted to do in my life is sing.”

A Grand Ole Opry member since 2012, Darius joins fellow country superstars Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, The Band Perry and Brett Eldredge in the much-anticipated new movie, which gives country music fans an inside look at the magic behind the scenes at the legendary Grand Ole Opry.
