The country music community is a family, one that celebrates the good times, cries over the sad times and is always looking for the next dream to chase and the next fairy tale to make come true.

And at a recent concert in Georgia, Brantley Gilbert shared with his country music family a little part of his own fairy tale.

“It makes this song that much more special, and tonight being my first show in Georgia as a new dad, I want you all to meet somebody, man,” Brantley told the crowd as his dear wife Amber walked onstage with their baby son. The moment is captured in a video Brantley shared on Instagram, in which he can be heard telling his fans, “Ladies and gentleman, this is Mr. Barrett Hardy-Clay Gilbert.”

As the crowd went nuts with delight (Barrett was carefully protected from the deafening sound with headphones), Brantley held up his microphone to his baby’s mouth. “He doesn’t have much to say,” Brantley said as the crowd laughed. “I just wanted you all to meet him and my beautiful wife, Amber.”

The precious moment occurred as part of Brantley’s “The Ones That Like Me” tour, aptly named considering how he feels about his fans that have turned into family.

“People tell you all kinds of things about marketing,” Brantley said in a recent press release. “But I want to call it something that speaks to what this tour is: a chance for me to get together with all the people out there who get this music, who believe in these songs and live their lives just like the people back home do. We are all proud Americans, who try to stand up and do the right thing. That isn’t marketing, that’s life – and that’s what my music is made of.”
