Wait till you hear what the outspoken Charlie Daniels had to say about the president and gun control

Country music legend Charlie Daniels is not a man who minces words. He never has been and never will be. He has strong views and isn’t afraid to state them regardless how controversial the topic may be.

On Jan. 5, President Obama addressed the nation about the sweeping gun control reform he plans to implement. And yes, Daniels was watching. When it was over, let’s just say Daniels was not a happy man. So much so that he took to his website to voice his displeasure.

“When a man who seems to think the Constitution is open to his own personal interpretation and whose reputation for voracity is somewhat less than sterling, I for one trust it about as far as I can throw one of my Hereford bulls,” Daniels wrote in an open letter on his website. “No matter what Obama says, his ultimate goal is the total disarming of America and knows he cannot do it in one fell swoop and is going about it in increments.”

Daniels went on to offer both his thoughts on the current policy makers, as well as his solutions on how to make this country safer while not stripping rightful gun owners of their guns.

“Obama is a one-eyed jack, but America has seen the hidden side of his face and anybody willing to admit the truth knows that his hidden agenda outweighs the one he holds out before you. He is simply not to be trusted and if he wins this battle, he will be back shortly to ask for another increment.”
