Todd Chrisley spices up Christmas with new holiday duet with wife Julie Instagram/@toddchrisley

Fans of Todd Chrisley’s USA reality show, “Chrisley Knows Best,” have seen him and his wife, Julie, close out every episode talking in bed. Usually, Todd’s making some sort of advance toward Julie, and that amorous relationship informs one of the tracks on the family’s new holiday album, “A Chrisley Christmas.”

“Under the Mistletoe” is a duet between Todd and Julie, who Todd tells us, “has been jingling my bells for about 22 years.”

In the song, Todd hilariously chases after Julie to fulfill his “Christmas desire.”

Todd explains, “I would say that I am filled with Christmas desire all the time, which is why I have five children. I’ve been filled with Christmas desire since I was almost 15 years old, and I hope it never goes away.”

After 22 years together, it’s great to see Todd and Julie still so in love with each other. Todd knows it’s a cliché, but he truly found his ideal partner in Julie.

“I used to think this was the corniest thing in the world when I would hear people say, ‘I married my soul mate. I married my best friend,'” Todd says. “I was so sick of hearing that in life, until I did it. Julie and I, I was allowed to be who I am with Julie, and Julie continued to support me and push me forward. She’s been a great mother, a great wife, a great friend.”

Over the years, Todd and Julie have had each other’s backs and offered support to each other as they raised their rather large family. The two of them just seem to balance each other out.

Says Todd, “It’s just a very calm, peaceful feeling that she gives me. And I give her a calm, peaceful feeling every week.”

The rest of the Chrisley clan, including Chase, Savannah, Grayson and Nana Faye, are also featured on the project. Quite a few country stars join the party for “A Chrisley Christmas,” too. The star-studded guest list includes Jana Kramer, Michael Ray, RaeLynn and Emily West.
