Tim McGraw’s spin on this Texas Tornado band classic just blew our minds Facebook/Bobby Bones Show

If anybody can make us want to take a trip to Mexico, it’s Tim McGraw.

The country icon recently visited the Bobby Bones Show as part of it’s “Joy Week” to do his own spin on the Texas Tornado’s song, “Who Were You Thinkin’ Of.”

Backed up by a slew of mariachis, Tim couldn’t help but bop around to the beautiful traditional Tejano sounds of trumpets, violins and a five-stringed guitar. Meanwhile, his mariachi buddies couldn’t help but smile from cheek to cheek. They were all just having a boatload of fun.

“There was a smile on your face I haven’t seen in sometime,” joked Tim.

“Who Were You Thinkin’ Of” is a song about a man who curiously wonders if his partner thinks about someone else while they’re together, but considering it’s lyrics, Tim made the song fun and catchy.

Tim is one of several country artists who stopped by The Bobby Bones Show during its “Joy Week,” which is a week-long event that lasts from March 3 to March 7. According to the show, “Joy Week” dedicates itself “to choosing and spreading joy in honor of people that are prime examples of making a conscious effort to not let hardship or difficulty cause them to lose hope or positivity in their lives.” Other “Joy Week” performers included Dierks Bentley, Carrie Underwood and Jana Kramer.
